Architecture

The architecture is fully independent of any cloud services - it runs on dedicated servers hosted in the UK with both mirrored disks and mirrored server instances for full redundancy. We take continuous backups using live WAL streaming so can offer full point in time recovery for all postgres databases instances.

Off site backups are maintained, which can provide rapid service rebuilding using dedicated GitLab repos coupled with OVH api server provisioning - this maintains a full disaster recovery service without increasing the carbon footprint of these services.
